Griffith University is a research intensive, student focussed university of 43,000 students with five campuses in the Brisbane-Gold Coast region of South East Queensland. Griffith University is named in honour of Sir Samuel Griffith (1845-1920), a former Premier and Chief Justice of Queensland and the first Chief Justice of Australia.
