Griffith University
Griffith University is a research intensive, student focussed university of 43,000 students with five campuses in the Brisbane-Gold Coast region of South East Queensland. Australia's ninth largest higher education provider, Griffith was established in 1971 and is now one of Australia's most innovative and highly regarded universities. Analysis of Excellence in Research for Australia 2010 placed Griffith in the top 10 of research universities and found over 90 per cent of academic staff to be working in fields at world standard or above.*

Mt Gravatt focuses on education, criminology and social and behavioural sciences. Griffith's largest and expanding Gold Coast campus offers Medicine, Dentistry, Dental Therapy, Dental Prosthetics and Dental Technology. The South Bank campus in the city’s arts, parks and restaurant precinct comprises the prestigious Queensland Conservatorium, Queensland College of Art and the Griffith Film School. Logan campus is a national showcase of social inclusion with deep industry engagement and study pathways. Griffith has 230 agreements with institutions around the world.
Griffith University is named in honour of Sir Samuel Griffith (1845-1920), a former Premier and Chief Justice of Queensland and the first Chief Justice of Australia.
