There are many scholarships available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and in many fields of study. The following lists some of the scholarships available to both Australian and international students.
Australia Awards (opens in a new window) offers opportunities through achievement and development streams.
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships (opens in a new window) are the Australian Government’s competitive, merit-based scholarships providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia and for Australians to do the same overseas.
Commonwealth Scholarships provide support to eligible Indigenous Higher Education students with general costs of study and support where they have had to move from rural or remote areas in order to study.
The Research Support Program (opens in a new window) (RSP) provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support the systemic costs of research not supported directly through competitive and other grants, such as libraries, laboratories, consumables, computing centres and the salaries of support and technical staff.
The Research Training Program (opens in a new window) (RTP) scheme provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees, known as higher degrees by research (HDRs).
